SMOOTHIE POPSICLE. A.K.A YUMMY MOUTHGASM DELICIOUSNESS.
Im loving this smoothie, mmm.
EQUINOX KALICIOUS
Juice:
Many people make their own nut milks and why not! It is super easy to do. I have completely stopped buying cow’s milk and fully switched over to making my own nut milks.
Here’s how easy it is:
blend at high speed…
1 cup of raw organic nut of choice (I most often use almonds, cashews, or walnuts)
4 cups of purified water
Strain through a nut milk bag. http://www.amazon.com/Nut-milk-Bag-1-Quart/dp/B004EFW3NE
Nut milk bags are cheap and a life saver. You can use the nut meat left over for various vegan recipes or chuck into your raw cereal or smoothies. The milk left over is a clean white milk great for adding to tea, raw cereals, smoothies, or just drinkin straight up.
You can store your milk for up to 3 days in the fridge.
NOTE: For the sweetest milk, soak nuts overnight in purified water. If you are making almond milk, you can easily peel of the brown skin after the nuts have soaked to make a really pure white milk. Also, it is said that soaking nuts prior to eating them makes them easier to digest.
Here is a smoothie recipe I just made running out the door for work. I am now enjoying it out of my Klean Kanteen at my desk :)
1/2 cup of almond meat - I just made raw organic almond milk. After straining the milk through a nut milk bag, the meat is left over - so….I chucked it in.
I opened the freezer and there were 5 frozen organic strawberries left - so….I chucked them in.
I went to the store last night and bought some really plump organic dates - so…I chucked two in.
I had an organic baby head of lettuce in the fridge - so…I washed it with filtered water, broke it up AND chucked it in.
I wanted a coconut taste, but didn’t want to use coconut oil, so I remembered that I had some raw organic coconut flakes in the cupboard, SO I chucked in about a half cup.
I knew this was going to be a little to thick to blend, so I added purified water about 3/4 the way up the mix, chucked in a dash of cinnamon and blended it up.
I must say this is good chuck.
2-3 cups deseeded watermelon 1/2 - 3/4 cup coconut water 1 cup frozen strawberries 1 pitted peach Add some fresh mint for a refreshing finish.

Minty Purple Peach Smoothie
2 peaches, unpeeled
1 c. blueberries, frozen
5-6 mint leaves
1/2 c. soy milk*
Roughly chop the peaches (remove stone) and place them in the blender with all other ingredients. Pulse the blender a few times to get the blueberries going, and then let it run for 30 – 60 seconds.
Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

I am drinking this smoothie right now!
When you want something sweet after a big meal, this is the perfect fix.
Organic please!
2 very ripe bananas
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/4-1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 heaping teaspoon virgin coconut oil
1/4 purified water and then keep adding for consistency
I poured mine in a martini glass and am sipping it down.
